● Grade 7 students have received a short survey to give us an idea of how they are
feeling about the start up of school. These should be completed by the end of
the week. As a team, we will be addressing any areas of need that come up
from that survey and continuing to provide support as needed.
● November Hot Lunch orders close October 25th.
● Should your child be sick or away from EJELS on the day of hot lunch,contact
the office before 10am at 780-929-5977 to have your child’s hot lunch pulled for
pick up
● Pizza Tuesday is Oct 29- Orders must be placed by Monday, October 22 at 3pm
on PowerSchool. As the Pizza is not individually wrapped we are unable to set it
aside for absent students.
● October 31 Halloween Activities:

• regular am classes
• activities pm (Halloween and non-Halloween themed)
  -students are permitted to dress up, no fake weapons, no masks.
  *One of these activities will be an optional haunted house with a fog machine.
  Please talk with your child about not going through it if they will be sensitive to
  the fog.
  ● PD Day Friday, November 1 – no classes
  ● Our Grade 7 Immersion students are fundraising for their 2025 Quebec trip. If
