We had a great first week and it’s been wonderful to see everyone! Please see below for a few important notes.
Important Dates:
- Extra Curricular Activities starting:
- Gr 8 & 9 Girls Volleyball Tryouts Wednesday (Sept 2), Thursday (Sept 3) & Tuesday (Sept 8) & Thursday (Sept 10). Please note all tryouts take place from 3-4:30 in the gym EXCEPT Thursday, Sept 10 which will take place in the morning.
- Grade 8 & 9 Boys Volleyball Tryouts Monday (Aug 31), Tuesday (Sept 1), Wed (Sept 9) & Thurs (Sept 10). Please note all tryouts take place from 3-4:30 in the gym.
- Grade 7 Volleyball Skills sessions at lunch; students can listen to announcements for the specific days.
- Thurs Sept 3 - Golf tryouts -Grade 9 - 3:30pm. More info to follow for Gr. 7&8’s
- X-Country run club starts next week

Important 2026/2027 School Information
- Absences For the safety of our students, parents/guardians are required to notify the school whenever a child will be absent, late or leaving the school during school hours. The preferred method is to submit a Safe Arrival Safe Arrival Instructions or by email jeloffice@blackgold.ca
- PowerSchool – Parent Portal Account To complete online permission forms, busing applications, pay fees, view report cards, grades and see attendance please log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account. If you require assistance with your PowerSchool account please contact our school office at jeloffice@blackgold.ca
- School Fees Will be determined based on chosen options. A list of fees can be found on our website under the Parent Tab. Please check PowerSchool regularly.
