Fair Notice – Leduc and Area Community Violence Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) and Intervention Protocol

As always, our schools, communities, parents/guardians and protective services are working together to protect our children and keep our community safe.

All partners, including Black Gold Regional Division No. 18, will continue to be guided by the Leduc and Area Community Violence Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) and Intervention Protocol. Meaning, all partners will, at all times, take actions seen as necessary to ensure immediate risk reduction, without delay.

For more information please see the Black Gold Division wsbsite.

Thank you to all the partners and stakeholders working collaboratively on this protocol. We also wish to acknowledge the work of the many school boards and community organizations who have also developed regional protocols in working to support the safety of children/youth and families.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
