Principal's Corner - November 7, 2025

Important Dates: 

• Mid- Term break November 10-17th. Classes resume Monday November 17th 

• École JE Lapointe School Christmas Elves Campaign is up and running. Please see the Information Poster 
• Pizza Tuesday for November/Dec and Jan/Feb orders are now open on PowerSchool.  
• Student pick-up/leaving early - When picking up or signing your student out during the day, please provide the Office with sufficient time to have the student leave their class, collect their items from their locker and come down to the Office to sign out. It can be difficult to be given 5-10 mins notice of a student leaving, particularly if they are in option class or gym. We kindly ask that you provide 30 mins notice for an early pick up. We understand some situations will require an urgent pick up, but early sign outs with little to no warning is difficult to accommodate.
• Live Different will be presenting to our school again this year on Wednesday.  Their theme this year is kindness.
• We are lucky to host two Alberta Foundation for the Arts Travelling Exhibition Program (TREX) exhibits this school year.  Our first one is titled Room to Reflect and will be available for viewing during the weeks of November 17 to December 10. It will be set up in the learning commons and is available to see during school hours. Room to Reflect Information Poster
