- Students have reviewed the Student Health and Safety Contract (Google form) with their CTF and Science teachers, as per division request. Parents/Guardians- you can review the linked PDF to ensure you understand the expectations. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher to ensure Health & Safety expectations.
- Permission Forms & School Fees- Please check your child’s PowerSchool account regularly for any school fees and permission forms that need to be completed.There are currently a number of permission forms that need to be completed, Including the new Fairness in Sport Form required by the Alberta Government
- SafeArrival Absence Reporting System: Set up your account on the website using the email address that you have provided us for your name. Once the account is set up, you can use the app if you wish:
- Website: School Messenger website at home.schoolmessenger.ca. Sign up to create your account. Select Attendance then Report an Absence.
- Mobile App: on the School Messenger Home app on a mobile device app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Sign up to create your account. Select Attendance then Report an Absence.
- By phone: call 780-955-4526 which is an automated system. Parents are encouraged to create a PIN for security. Follow the phone prompts.

- 2025-2026 Student Enrollment Verification Form for Black Gold School Division is LIVE on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please confirm your child’s information as soon as possible so we have current contact information.
- Transportation: Remember to download the Bus Status 4 App to stay informed of bus delays or cancellations. Visit MyBusPlanner to create or login to your bus information portal.
