Important Dates: 


  • Friday January 16th PowerSchool Update: PowerSchool comments are unavailable until Monday February 2nd. PowerSchool Grades will still be available during this time.
  • Friday January 30th- *New this year* EJELS marks the mid-point of the school year as semester 1 ends.  All core classes run year-long and grades are cumulative continuing into Semester 2. Report cards reflecting Semester 1 marks and comments will be available on PowerSchool February 2. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held in March; further details on how to book will be shared in February.  
  • Pizza Tuesday order form is now open for January and February orders
  • Please check your students PowerSchool account for any outstanding Term 1 fees along with any Term 2 fees
  • Library fines have been added to powerschool for any students with books that are over one month late. The fines will be deleted promptly after the books are returned to the library
  • Thank you for supporting our Grade 7 Québec Trip by buying a small Chartier poutine.

  • Please complete the Phys Ed Off Site Activities permission form which is required for ALL students to participate in any phys ed activities that take place off school grounds.
  • Black Gold invites all Parents/Guardians to a Mental Health & Safety Evening focused on student well-being and online safety.  Tuesday, January 27th at Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts, Leduc from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Please see the Information Poster
  • Ecole Beaumont Composite High will be presenting Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jan 28-31 - see info poster here. It marks the first Block 5 musical produced in our school in 25 years, and for the first time, the ESBCHS Atrium will be transformed by Prairie Fire Productions into the magical world of Matilda.   • The Bibliotheque de Beaumont Library is bringing back Chapter One: Young Writers Contest opens Sunday, February 1, 2026, for two age categories: youth (ages 10-13) and young adults (ages 14-17).
